Kim Zolciak is a recording artist and cast member of Bravo's reality series The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Zolciak is a lead character on the reality television series The Real Housewives of Atlanta, airing on Bravo. Originally, the show was to only include five African American women, but after the producers met Zolciak they were so impressed they gave her a spot on the show. The series has proved to be one of Bravo's most successful television programs. The Real Housewives of Atlanta series has produced the highest rating out of the entire series of shows. The show has also become a key factor in Zolciak promoting her upcoming album and singles. The third season of the series will be begin airing in Oct. 2010.
At the start of the show, Zolciak was working on her debut country album. However, in 2009, Zolciak released her debut single, "Tardy for the Party", which has more of a dance track. She has promoted the single by going on a small club tour as well as appearing on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' and performing live. She also performed the song on the 'White Party 2010' tour, touring alongside artists such as Kesha. The song peaked at number 2 on the iTunes Top 200, and at number 3 on iTunes Dance Chart. Zolciak has confirmed the album's 2010 release date, and confirmed that it will be a dance album, similar to its lead single. In 2010, a remix EP was released by Zolciak, featuring remixes of "Tardy for the Party." All of the remixes were produced by DJ Tracy Young.
During Season 2 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Zolciak began working on launching her own wig line, KZ's Lokz, with the help from her stylist Derek J. Kim is currently doing a VIP wig line on a custom order basis. She is also teaming up with her hair stylist to create an entire hair product line.
