Marco V (born Marco Verkuylen) is a Dutch DJ who is often considered a trance specialist, but his style combines electro-house, progressive house and progressive trance. He releases his 'Top Ten Mix' every month. Marco V was the long-time resident DJ of the "danssalon" in Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
After several years of residency, he began to focus on production. His first major breakthrough came when he headlined Innercity in Amsterdam 2000 and mixing the Innercity CD of that year. In 2005 he released the critically acclaimed follow-up to his debut "con:fusion", named "200V" and he is currently working on a new album.
He ranked as number 44 on the 2008 DJ Magazine Top 100 DJs List, down 24 places from 2007. He is also widely known also for producing the theme songs for such major motorsport championships as the FIA World Rally Championship and the A1GP Powered by Ferrari.
